August 2026 Safety Roundtable: 

Please join us for our monthly IEC Dallas Safety Roundtable!

This month, we’ll be sharing event information and ideas for Safe and Sound Week events, along with an important safety topic: Emergency Preparedness.

We’ll discuss emergency preparedness and the various areas we may want to consider incorporating into our company safety programs. Emergency preparedness is the process of planning and organizing resources so we can respond effectively to emergencies such as natural disasters, fires, medical emergencies, power outages, or other unexpected events.

Emergencies can create a variety of hazards for workers in an impacted area. Preparing before an emergency occurs plays a vital role in ensuring employers and workers have the necessary resources and equipment, know where to go, and understand how to keep themselves safe when an emergency happens.

Being prepared can help reduce panic, protect lives, and support a faster recovery following an emergency.

We look forward to sharing information, exchanging ideas, and learning from one another as we continue working together to strengthen safety within our industry.
